This is our version of a universal low profile overlanding roof rack for 1/10 crawlers. We originally built this for the Element Trailrunner, but later realized it also fit perfectly on our Axial SCX10.3. Because of this we are not going to limit it to one vehicle as it will fit many models very well!
Using a simple yet detailed design, we made a very durable low profile roof rack that offers awesome looks with great usability.

This roof rack will mount using 5 screws with nuts on the bottom to ensure it is secure to the roof and won't fall off even in the harshest conditions. There are five conveniently placed holes on each side to attach straps or tie downs to properly hold your equipment in place.
To install, you will need to align the Roof Rack on the roof of your vehicle to your liking, then mark the 5 mounting holes. After the holes are marked where you like, drill the holes. Then place the roof rack on the roof and begin by installing the center screw first followed by the remaining screws. Make sure they are tight but not overly tight, as you could possibly damage the part and your car body.
